Singer-songwriter guitarist Chris Giguère writes memorable songs of reflection, insight and pondering that live on the blurry boundary between folk, country, and rock.
Originally performing as a duo after Robin encouraged Chris to share some of his recent songs, the group became a trio when Alex joined in 2017.
“Singer-songwriter” or “indie-folk” are genre labels that most closely describe the style of music the group creates. While most of their repertoire is comprised of Chris’ original songs, they also enjoy putting their own stamp on material by artists such as Jason Isbell, Tom Petty, Hawksley Workman, Alison Moyet, Pearl Jam, and others.
The trio plays regularly in and around their home base of Kingston, Ontario and are eager to share their music with a wider audience.
During the winter and spring of 2018 they recorded their debut 6-song EP “Shine”. The recording showcases the breadth and variety in Chris’ songwriting as well as Robin’s vocal talents and Alex’s multi-instrumental prowess.
